Yeah it makes me question the entire script now (and why they dubbed this in English when the game itself has no English dub). All they are doing is alienating their niche audience whom are moving on to more respected localisers like Marvelous and IFI. Even NISA is above them now (and their rep with the purists is also pretty bad). I hope Atlus never colabs with Nintendo to make niche games like this ever again, and hopefully the sales of this game will help make a good case for it.

Not to mention they also pay for the Japanese Seiyuu to re-dub the whole script just to match the reworked English script.

They are trying to appeal it to larger audiences when this title has a very limited appeal, and they’ve already screwed over half of the game’s true target audience with the localisation edits. They genuinely don’t know what they are doing anymore. They are blowing more money paying this dude alongside changing various assets of the game, and no amount of “authentic” Japanese dubbing is going to get over that.
