During today’s Nintendo Direct, we finally got some news about DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake which was initially announced quite a while back now. During the Nintendo Direct they announced that the game will be launching for Nintendo Switch this upcoming November 14th, 2024. In the SQUARE ENIX press release they mention that it will also be launching for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Windows, in addition to the previously announced Switch release. That wasn’t the only news however. Also announced, was DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake. That was announced during the Nintendo Direct as well, but SQUARE’S press release doesn’t yet state all of the platforms it will be launching for. That collection will be launching sometime in 2025. A more specific release date has not yet been announced at this time. Oh and one more thing, SQUARE ENIX also mentions in their press release that pre-orders are now available for the Standard physical and digital copies and also there is a Collector’s Edition available. Not only that, but anyone who pre-orders the game will get a Trouble-Free Travel Kit in game which contains various in-game items.
